A gift for my friend. Xalenthewolf
This illustration is a gift I made for my friend. I finished it a few days ago, but I took some time to rest my brain before posting it. the art consists of a character I made for my friend (the anthro wolf), and My character (the one with the wings.) I made their designs close to the same time. and My friend suggested that I could make an artwork of them since it's been a year that they were created.
My friend's birthday happened to be coming up, so I also wanted to get it done for that as well. I was a few days late on that part, but this was a last-minute project to start on. I will say that I'm happy to have worked on this. it's been a while since I've just spent time on an illustration that wasn't for one of my comics.
The process
When I was working on it, I tried out some 3D models that I made in blender. I used some tutorials to help me with making the 3D models.

It's been a while since I've done actual modeling so these tutorials helped to refresh my mind. Once I get the tuned good enough with e rigging and weight painting, I'll probably make them available on sketch fab or some other place.
I set up a simple layout of the background in blender. lately I've been interested to using blender to help with backgrounds. I'm not the strongest at them, but if this can help me to draw them more, then I don't mind learning to model even if it ends up being simple modeling.
I recorded the process of doing the drawing and bringing the art to completion.
